We strongly recommend that clients should take out their own Holiday Insurance policy.

13. Hot tubs
Where properties have a hot tub, the following rules and regulations apply It is the responsibility of the person booking the property to ensure that all members of the group who intend to use the hot tub, read and understand the rules and regulations.
The hot tub is located outside of the property and will be full, up to temperature and ready for use. The cover will be closed with straps secured when you arrive. The tub will have been treated with chemicals before you arrive and you will not need to treat it yourselves during your stay, although staff may check it and / or treat it if necessary. If treatment is necessary, staff will advise you when it can be used after treatment.
The hot tub is on at all times and will have filtration cycles during the day. It cannot be turned on before use or turned off after use. Please do not let this cause you any concern.
Please ensure that the water level does not go down below the filter or the jets as this will cause an air lock and damage to the hot tub. There is a hose to top it up if necessary.
The hot tub’s modes and settings should not be adjusted during your stay. It is very easy to reset the tub on sleep or shut down mode if you do not know what you are doing, and this will result in a cold tub! The resetting of the hot tub is carried out by pressing the buttons in various settings in quick succession, so to avoid resetting the tub, leave a second or two between pressing the temperature or jet buttons. The tub on sleep mode will take 24 hours to reheat, so please be aware of this, particularly if you are only there for a short break and wish to use the tub!
We would ask you to follow these very important instructions below when using the hot tub:
-Never remove the entire hot tub cover from the hot tub when opening – this will cause damage to it and less privacy. Please swing the cover open using mechanism. Open the cover by folding it in half over the bar and swing it upwards to open.
-We would ask that the cover is always closed over the tub when it is not in use.
-Please fasten cover straps when the hot tub is not in use to secure the hot tub.
-Please ensure that you shower thoroughly BEFORE and AFTER using the hot tub.
-Please limit hot tub sessions to NO MORE THAN 20 MINUTES at a time for health reasons.
-There is a chlorine dispenser which should be kept in the hot tub at all times, in particular when not in use.
-Should the colour of the water NOT be crystal clear, please refrain from using immediately and contact a member of staff.
-Please do not put shampoo, soaps or bubble bath into the hot tub
-Please do not use body creams when in the hot tub. Sun cream can cause imbalances in the tub chemicals which can see the tub going cloudy and then green very quickly. This will result in the tub being out of action.
-Please do not use the tub when wearing fake tan – this will leave streak marks on the inside of the tub and cause chemical imbalance in the water as above.
-Please do not let gravel or grass or mud get into the hot tub as this will cause a chemical imbalance and the hot tub will have to be shut down.
-Please do not use the hot tub if pregnant.
-Please do not use the hot tub if you are suffering from a stomach bug, are likely to vomit, or have any open wounds.
-Please do not use the hot tub if you have heart problems.
-Drinks should not be consumed in the hot tub and glassware should be kept away from the hot tub in case of breakage or spills.
-Please do not consume food in the hot tub.
-Please do not engage in any anti-social behaviour whilst in the hot tub and keep noise levels to a minimum as there may be other groups and families in the vicinity.
-Please take care when children are in the hot tub and never leave them unsupervised. NO ONE under the age of 5 years should use a hot tub.
-Please do not use the hot tub after 11pm
Please note that it is your responsibility when using the hot tub and care and attention to the above points should be taken. Thank you for your cooperation!
