Craggantoul House sleeps twelve people in six spacious bedrooms, and has large living, dining and kitchen areas, ideal for large groups and family holidays.
 
Craggantoul House is luxuriously furnished and offers all the mod cons for the perfect break.  There is a romantic spiral staircase leading to the master bedroom, roaring wood burning stoves to keep our guests snug and the glass fronted living room offers breathtaking views over the surrounding meadows and the loch. 
 
Our guests are free to wander the orchards and meadows down  through the ancient oak forests to the loch where we have fishing rights for trout. The area is rich in wildlife and guests will see the deer roam freely around the grounds and the vibrant bird life on the estate.

Lodge Features

  • 6 very comfortable double bedrooms with lots of space for large groups and families, (3 king beds, 3 twin rooms)
  • Beds are all made up on arrival with crisp, white Egyptian cotton bed linen and swiss chocolates on the pillows
  • The three king beds have memory foam mattresses for ultra comfort
  • Large white bath sheets for everyone, hand towels and bath mats for the bathrooms
  • Spacious kitchen with  two ovens and super size  hob, dish washer, large fridge, extra full height freezer and fridge in utility room, microwave, toaster etc
  • Wood burning stoves in kitchen and one of the king bedrooms (initial stocks of firewood provided)
  • Tea and coffee, washing up liquid, dish washer tablets, wash powder for the washing machine, initial supplies of loo roll and bin bags
  • Three bathrooms, one with walk in shower, two with baths and showers
  • Flat screen TV, DVD, Hifi system, limited wifi
  • Additional flat screen TVs in kitchen and two of the king bedrooms
  • Licence application is pending

We stayed at Craggantoul as an extended family party of 12 - ages ranging from 10-80. The house itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, well equipped with fantastic communal space with outstanding views. The outdoor space is great too - the kids loved running around and the walk down to the Loch is lovely ( just note that it has quite steep downhill/uphill sections not suited to aged relatives). It’s an amazing place to stay. Good location, not too far a drive from Killin or Kenmore.

The house is has plenty of room, comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen.

Surroundings are fantastic too. Ideal place to stay.
